5.1 Frontal Assault The H division sets up without St. Julien's brigade. 5.2 Ott Turns the French Right The H division sets up without St. Julien's brigade. Instead that brigade is deployed in 11.17 and has orders to support the attack on Marengo. Hardegg sets up in 16.17. The 28th Line sets up in 25.19 and has the same orders as L Corps. The Cavalry Division sets up without 3-Cav. 5.3 Desaix's Counterattack The H division sets up without St. Julien's brigade. Instead that brigade is deployed in 47.09 and has orders to lead the attack on St. Guiliano Vecchio. The 28th Line sets up with and has the same orders as L Corps. Hardegg's bridge is deployed between 18.16 and 19.16 with Hardegg (reduced) in 19.16. The Austrian Right Division has left the map in accordance with 3g above. The Cavalry Division sets up without 3-Cav. At 7:00 pm 3Cav enters at 46.35 with orders to join the nearest French Corps. 5.4 The Battle of Marengo St. Julien's brigade enters at 6:00 Am at Entry Area A and has orders to advance to Pedre Bona and await further orders. Ott's "corps" may not enter play until all other Austrian units have entered the map. Hardegg enters at 11.00 a.m. at Entry Area A. I-Cav sets up within three hexes of Castel Ceriolo. 1-Cav has no orders. L Corps sets up within two hexes of II Poggi. L Corps has orders to stay in place and await further orders. Murat enters play with Napoleon. 3-Cav does not set up at start. Instead it enters as a variable reinforcement at 46.35 on a roll of 10 on two dice. Start rolling at 3:00 pm.
