15mm new metal WWI ranges available from 25, Princetown Road, Bangor, Co. Down, BT20 3TA, N. Ireland These l5mm WWI figures are in the new more malleable metal than the old figures some of which tended to snap unexpectedly - and annoyingly. Foot are 8 to a pack. I will list all the figures as usual, comment as I think appropriate and draw some of them, not to scale. (There are quite a lot of them!) British WMB1 British Infancy in soft peaked caps. Full field marching order - ammo pouches, valise, small paclc, water bottle. Mostly moving forward with rifle and bayonet 'at the ready.' One trudges forward with rifle slung. Real PBI. WMB2 British Infantry firing rifle. Three prone, two kneeling, three standing firing. All in good aiming poses apart from the prone should have their legs apart. This gives a better he against the recoil of the weapon, allowing repeat shots to be on target. WMB3 British Infantry. Contains two more "trudgers," slung rifle. A heavy MG with gunner - ammo number with ammo box. Kneeling section leader with binos, kneeling soldier (could be a namer) with rifle and bayonet and two guys with Lewis machine guns standing, weapon at the hip. The "trudgers" I see are ammo carners for the Lewis. WMB4 Imperial infantry in topees. Mostly moving forward, puttees, rifle with bayonet fixed. A couple have goggles on their tepees. Some have rolled up sleeves and the mther long shorts that were the fashion. Good action poses. WMB5 Imperial infantry in topees shooting. Standing, kneeling and lying in same proportion as WMB2. WMB7 Imperial infantry. They look like Australians &t ANZACS from the headgear. All being active with a rifle and bayonet. WMB8 Imperial infantry firing. ANZACS again. Standing, kneeling and prone. WMB9 Imperial infantry MG pack. 2 MGs Heavy) with gunners and ammo numbers. 2 Lewis gunners and ammo (drum) numbers. Turks WMT1 Turkish infantry. Topee with looped up pugaree, some with goggles. Rifles and bayonets in a variety of poses. Good modelling - and now lovely flexible metal! WMT2 Turkish infantry firing. Prone, standing and kneeling. Full pack with rolled cape or overcoat.
