Unfortunately to date it appears that the SWA membership have yet to be inspired by the "Aide de Camp" service (few having actually employed it) although those that have seem to have conferred the idea with a resounding "thumbs-up". As a response therefore, and as coordinator of the service, I feel obliged to record something of my own 'gaming experiences with the facility and include an extract from my wargames diary, condensing certain events with which ADCs had a hand (all the incidents included stem directly from ADC involvement). Printed immediately below is an edited summary of the 18th century campaign "With Fife & Drum" which I have been running solo (with the help of a few ADC's) for over two years. The ADCs taking part received copies of this summary as an introduction to the game (plus added details, such as: army lists, intelligence reports, governmental orders etc.) Using ADCs in Campaigns With Fife & Drum
