Command Pack F - Robin Hood. There are 11 figures in this pack: Two variants of the great man himself, one version is the classic archery one and the other he is winding up his hunting horn with his sword in his right hand. Maid Marion is mounted side-saddle on a well sculptured horse (in fact all the figures are) and she is wearing a hooded cloak. Friar Tuck is standing guard over his ‘tuck’ box (I promised myself I would not do this)/treasurer chest with a cross on a pole in his hand. Personally I would fit him out with a more earthly and formidable weapon with which to keep his tuck (done it again) safe. The rest of the motley crew comprise of two archers plucking their arrows from the ground behind them and two more having just loosed their missiles. There is a figure lunging forward, one walking forward, with right arm raised slightly and the final figure is standing, again with his arm raised. Tuck and the last three figures have open hands to receive either a sword, cross, spear or halberd which came in the pack. A further aid to variety is that the band have separate heads, and I received four with helmets and three bareheaded, which look good when on. A very interesting pack, from the ever increasing and extensive range of figures, that Paul is producing. Send a s.a.e for a catalogue. Recommended. [It should be pointed out that you will never see a bad review in Lone Warrior, it is our policy not to do a review if the figures are not ones we would buy if we were into that period and scale. If anyone wishes to send in a review please do so, but be honest with your comments, because members do take note of them. Kenn] More Reviews
