King George's Army 1740-93 : (1) Infantry By Stuart Reid and Paul Chappel. Osprey Military, Men at Arms Series ISBN 1.85532.515.2 No. 285. First published in 1995. This is the usual 48 pages packed with information and drawings.

King George's Army 1740-93 : (2) Infantry ISBN 1.85532.564.0 No. 289. Yet more Infantry information especially auxiliaries such as Militia, Volunteers, Marines and troops of the East India Company - all with a strong Scots flavour.

King George's Army 1740-93 : (3) Infantry ISBN 1.85532.565.9 No. 292. Cavalry, Artillery, Engineers and Artificers.

Stuart Reid has done some of his own drawings from sources he's discovered and they are very good. Paul Chappel's colour pages are excellent. If you are an 18th Century "buff" you have to have these books.
