Brand new - unusual purchase for me! Rest assured this is not a romantic rerun found among the tartan packed petticoat tail shortbread. The armies are examined carefully and their tactics. Eye witness accounts have been dug out. Derek Stone has done his usual clear uncluttered maps for the book. There are photographs of the grounds fought over and houses, forts etc. plus some reproductions of portraits of the protagonists.
