46. HASELRIGG'S HARQUEBUS1ERS A Letter [SP 28/34 Pt3 f.375] in the PRO is entitled. "The state of the accompt of the pay of Edward Foley as captain of a troop of harquebusiers in the regiment whereof Sir Arthur Hesselrigge Knight was Collonel under the Command of the Honourable Sir William Waller. Knight" It is accepted that the regiment during this period were Cuirassiers. Is the above a mistake or was it that some troops in the regiment were 'conventionally' armed???
