David Evans
Can anyone furnish me with the whereabouts of a portrait or any likeness of SIR THOMAS DALLISON (Rupert's Horse) who was killed at Naseby? Also, any information on 'RUPERT'S OWN CORNET' killed at Welshpool, August 1644? (David Evans is the author and illustrator of MONTGOMERY, 1644, from which the drawing at right comes. He is researching for a book on Welshpool and Powys Castle during the War, as well as involved ln a major re-print veature concerning Wales and the Marches in the War of which more anon!)
