My manufacturer of choice is Heroics and Ros. Their 6mm figures have superb detail. Unfortunately they do not make an Ottoman Line. However their range is broad enough and 6mm small enough that with a little substitution a nice-looking Ottoman Napoleonic army can be created. For Janissaries, I use American Civil War Zouaves (item MACW8), for Rayas, Zouaves Skirmishing (MACW17). These figures paint up fine and work well for Nizam-i Jedid as well. For cavalry, I use Dervish (Mahdist) cavalry from the Colonial period (MC17). This can provide a range of figures because there are a variety of figures in each pack and when painted up they look sharp and distinctive. Other suitable figures would be French Guard Mamelukes (sold in a pack with Guard Marines (MFN24), and Renaissance Cossacks and Tartars (MR10 and MRll) and Crusader-era Saracens (MCR4). For Topiji gunners I used Dervish Artillery (MCl9), but while the gunners are fine, I found the cannon to be too modem and instead used Renaissance Artillery (MR3). Pathan Tribesmen (MC6) make great Fellahin, and for Sekhans I use Dervish Infantry (MC16).
