Referee's NotesThe Rio Grande/Bravo can only be crossed at the fords and bridges. There were a number of fords downstream, so the American Cavalry Brigade can enter on the southeast edge. These canals can only be crossed by wheeled vehicles and mounted units at bridges. Start the game at 8:00 in the morning, and continue until the Villaists as either win or are pushed off the board. Units which are routed or forced back off the board may not return. American Artillery observers on the El Paso Milling Company are considered 2 counters high for purposes of spotting for the 82nd. If it appears that the Villista's are winning over the Americans, allow the Carranzista's to defect. On a roll of a d10 for a 0, allow that unit to change sides. For each unit that does, add one to the die roll for all subsequent rolls.
