Draper Models, of England, produces a line of 15mm card stock model buildings for the Napoleonic era, which are now available here in the us. The LA BELLE ALLIANCE set contains three structures, the renowned La Belle Alliance Hotel and a walled farm with a house and barn. Each ofthe brick buildings, wall sections and gate, are printed on colored stock. The roofs are printed on red, farm buildings on light grey, and the hotel on white stock. To add more color, separate door and window pieces have been printed on brown and grey stock. These can be cut out and pasted to the buildings, over pre- printed doors and windows. The printed detail is very good, and the layout planning of tabs and score lines makes for easy assembly. The directions, however, are a bit vague and the drawing that shows the arrangement of farm buildings and walls is not very clear. In spite of this drawback, the La Belle Alliance set would be a good addition to your game table. Other sets in the Waterloo Range are La Haie Sainte, and Hougomont. The price is $3.95 for La Belle Alliance and La Haie Saint, and $5.49 for Hougomont. For the price, these sets are undoubtedly bargains, since they produce excellent models. Draper Models are available from P & P Mathews Distributors, 103 Norfolk St., Cambridge, MA 02139-2606. Reviewing Stand
