The figures themselves are well cast, free of flash, and generally well sculpted. They are a little squat as has been the case with Frontier's 15mm line, but they are well within acceptable size for 15mm. After all only toy soldiers are all the same size. The Sans Culotte is barefoot with a ragged uniform. These should make interesting units. The detailing on the figures is exaggerated to allow easy identification and painting. The figures are well animated and the facial features are nice. The uniforms and gear appear to be correct. The variations in poses make for lifelike formations. These figures can be modified to make Spanish regulars or French colonial troops. Reviewing Stand
