Although these figures are not strictly from 1754-60, these figures are the most accurate population estimates for the general time period. In computing the availability of Iroquois warriors to the general population, the Atlas recommends the consideration of one warrior for each four, and for other Indians, the ratio of one warrior for each five of the population listed below:
