FRENCH 1:1 1987 BATTLEGROUP

HQ Element: 2 AMX10P, 2 sqds, 1 AMX30132,2 AMX30 DCA, 6 Jeep w/MG, 3 sqds, 2 Jeep w/Milan ATCW

Infantry Company: 18 AMX10P, 4 Milan ATGW, 16 LMG, 18 sqds (2 AMX and 2 sqds in HQ 4AMX, 4 sqds, 4 LMC, and 1 Milan in each of 4 plts)

Tank Company: 17 AMX30 (1 in HQ 4 each in 4 plts)

AT Section: 2 VAB w/HOT ATGW

This is a really cut and dried list! It runs $60.50 to purchase the whole thing. Using CinC, the cost drops to $57.25 (pre-discount). Using ROS, the cost drops to $47.75. Actually, the French list is not at all cut and dried -- CinC and ROS make a number of interesting (unusual) armored cars and recon vehicles whose organizations would fill an article by themselves; infantry and tank platoon strengths vary; numerous antitank weapons are used. The above list is simply a basic force with which to start gaming!

FRENCH 1:5 1987 DIVISIONAL BATTLEGROUP

Recce Company: 3 jeep w/HMG, 1 jeep w/Milan ATGW

AT Company: 2 VAB/HOT ATGW

This Battlegroup contains about half the assets of an Armored Division, and should be manageable by one player. The list runs to approximately $69.75. If CinC were substituted, the cost would (pre-discount) fall to $65.75. The use of ROS models would result in a cost of $53.75.
