RAFM produces a complete line of 15mm Napoleonic figures originally manufactured by Ral Partha. While the line is somewhat old by today's standards RAFM has promised to redo several of the figures in the line. Their jump off point are two groups of cadre figures from the French army of 1806 and 1812. These figures are designed by Tom Meier, probably the best sculpted in the business. These figures have a wealth of detail with raised buttons and amazingly clean lines. The drummers are especially good with a defiant posture and a delightfully drooping mustache. These figures are on the smallish side, however, and would fit better with Heritage Models rather than the larger Minifigs. Now if we could only get Tom to do a French infantryman in bicorn ... Rating: Anatomy (.8), Animation (.6), Detail (.9), Paintability (.7), Casting (.8) Total: 3.8.
