WWII battles in 28mm have become very popular. There are several manufacturers making the figures and several making vehicle models. Some companies make both. Scales for the figures and vehicles consist of 25mm and 28mm for the figures, and 1/43, 1/48, 1/50, 1/60, and 1/64 scale for the vehicles and towed guns. [Ed. Note: To conserve space, the word “scale” will generally be omitted in this article.] The intention of this article is to provide the reader a review of the currently available figures and vehicle models, information on prices and quality, and where to purchase them. The review is divided between infantry and armor. The review is based on the models I have or have seen. I have also included some information on models which I have seen pictures of and web sites for every 25-28mm related figure or vehicle I have found as of April 2002.
