www.battlegroundwwii.com/ This company can, perhaps, be considered the original WWII figure company in that they are responsible for the release of the Battleground WWII Rules set. This set of rules has become very popular. Enough so that new WWII figures have come out since its release, and figure companies making figures in this scale prior to this rule set coming out, like 1st Corps, will find their sales increasing. These figures are 28mm in size and on the heavy side. They come with slotted plastic bases for individual figures. They have lots of action in their poses and, as can be seen in the summary, are one of the larger figures. The weapon size is proportional to the figures or a little large. EEE figures cover the types listed in their rules. They have German infantry, U.S. infantry, and Russian infantry. They also have German paratroops. This includes a good selection of characters from the EEE scenarios. The overall selection of figures is not real large compared to Battle Honors, 1st Corps, or Black Tree Design. Characters and teams are usually five figures per set. EEE also sells its figures in squad sized units of eight to ten figures. Infantry and Armor for 28mm WW II Combat Part I - Infantry
