Knuckleduster’s latest publication will prove to be a boon to Old West Skirmish gamers and Role Players. It is a compendium of just about every firearm used in the US during the period 1849-1900. Starting with the Colt Patterson Revolver of 1849 and ending with the Spencer-Roper Shotgun of 1900, it covers many hard-to-find data on some not so well known weapons. Each weapon datum includes year issued, caliber and type of action, Type of Damage inflicted, Drawing Speed (where it applies), rate of Fire, Concealment ability, Cost at the prices of the time, Ranges, How they are re-loaded, reliability and quirks. There is information on holsters, ammunition, modifications. Finally several articles by police officers discussing the psychology of gunfighting are presented. - Great Stuff! $19 from Knuckleduster, PO Box 1024, Normal IL 61761. www.knuckleduster.com More Reviewing Stand
