Last year Bob Coggins won the Scruby Award - well Deserved!- but his plaque was not ready at the time and he received it at the Legion of Honor breakfast at Historicon. The new president of HMGS-East, Jay Hadley made the presentation and then addressed the legionnaires. Jay said that the goals of HMGS were the Promulgation of the hobby, maintenance and improvement of the conventions and improved member services. He asked that The Legion members become more active as a group (they are all very active, individually)in helping HMGS to meet these goals. Greg Novak was elected as the secretary for the Legion and two new members were accepted, Arty Conliffe and Craig Taylor. More Courier Dispatch
