This is the second in the a series of interactive novels by Forrest Harris. Old West enthusiasts will find this one every much as exciting as was The Devil's Addition. In this one, you become Johnny MacDonald, a southerner of the old school as he passes through New Mexico. Interactive novels move you through a story by giving the reader decision points where you move to various pages in the novel and essentially create it as you go. RH is different in that you can create you own character's profile, much as in a role-playing game. I enjoyed it immensely though I got killed twice before succeeding through the whole adventure. Recommended to gamers who enjoy the Old West. Available for $17.95 from Knucklebuster Publications, PO Box 1024, Normal IL 61761. Website knuckleduster.com More Courier Reviews
