Miniature Review
This 20mm American Revolution line is very extensive. They measure 19L on the Barretscale. It contains a wide array of huntingshirt infantry for the Americans to include ones having the 1779 light infantry cap. One nice touch is that mounted figures also come with a dismounted counterpart. I don't know how many times I've had to fudge dismounted dragoons. All mounted types are covered to include Luzon's Legion. The down side is that the quality of some figures is drastically less than others - not up to what we have come to expect from this manufacturer. This is evident in faces. Often the faces consist of just two huge eye sockets. The mounted officers and a number of the light infantry and hunting shirt infantry are not something I can really recommend. And yet other figures, most notably all the French, are very nice overall with good detail in straps, guns, faces, and accoutrements. This is a line you will want to see for yourself and judge which figures meet your standards. $9.95 gets you a box of 24 infantry or 2 artillery pieces (completewith limbers and horses) or 6 mounted (and 6 dismounted).
