A Primer on
15mm WWII Miniatures

Essex and Feudal Castings

Essex

A venerable maker of 15mm stuff, they make a line of Brits, Germans and U.S. Nice figures, like all of their newer stuff, with more variations of pose than is usual for Essex. The figures are a bit bigger than other companies', so that mixing them doesn't work too well (older Peter Pig stuff is best for filling gaps). No vehicles. Expensive in the U.S., like all imported UK stuff. But worth a look, to be sure.

Feudal Castings

A nice little line of Japanese infantry, including knee mortars. Nice castings with good animation. Unfortunately, they are concentrating their efforts on Ancients/Medievals and WWI stuff.
