At 7 o'clock this morning, the army marched by the right in three columns. ORDER OF MARCH The 1st Column, composed of the First Line as far as the cavalry of the Left Wing exclusively, marched through Ldswitz and Maserwitz and then on towards Kamose, which it left on its left. From there, it marched across the fields and, leaving to its left the village of Schadewinkel, it entered the new camp. The 2nd Column, composed of the Second Line as far as the cavalry of the Left Wing, passed in front of the tavern at Ldswitz. From thence, it went through Rausse and Rachen towards Schadewinkel before entering camp. The cavalry of the Left Wing formed the 3d Column. This marched through Royn along the highroad through Blumerode and Wiiltschau towards Rausse and from there to the new camp. The artillery followed the 3d Column. The Reserve Corps moved to encamp between Rosenig and Royn. Headquarters are established at Kam6se. The right rests on the village of Schadewinkel and left is at the village of Rausse on the hillocks that border the Oder. At the approach of the Austrian army, several Prussian Hussars, who had until then been at Neumarkt, retired precipitately. By their new position, the Austrians assure themselves of control of that town and of the road to Breslau on this side of the Oder. The Prussians again today continued their march on the opposite bank of the river to draw closer to Breslau, but we do not know where they have made their camp. General Nadasdy received the order to close in on Schweidnitz. Journal of Horace St. Paul 1757 Part 7
