With the road to Breslau now open, it is time for the final advance to begin. During the 1998 Duffy Tour of Silesia we several times passed along the road that the Austrian army now follows. Participants in that tour will recall the relatively straight, tree-lined, route. They may also recall a small traffic jam at the bridge at Lissa. We halted there for a moment outside the schloss that would be home to His Royal Highness for some weeks. The view in Plate 62 is based on a vignette by Fryderyk Bernard Werner in "Topographafia Wroclawia" (ISBN 83-86642-59-9) - a delightful book recording Breslau and its surroundings at this time Topographical details will be found on the modern 1:100, 000 scale map entitled "Wojewodztwo Wroclawskie" being number 9 in a series published by Przedsiebiorsto Geodezy Jno-Kartograficzne Katowice (ISBN 83-86350-47-4).
