This weekend will cover Wellington's momentous victory at Waterloo. Visitors can meet ladies from the Regency period and Wellington's Redcoats in full historical uniform. The Waterloo Committee will be giving talks on A Soldier's Life and Waterloo: The Battle Explained and there will be a talk about Napoleon and His Legacy. Families can join the storyteller as she relates the tale of two orphaned children in Victorian London as they search for a famous face in You Will Know Him by His Nose. Children can also make and decorate magnificent masks with crowns or tiaras at the craft table. Each day will culminate at 3.45pm in the Waterloo Gallery with A Near Run Thing: The Story of Waterloo, a theatrical telling of the battle which recreates the heroism, excitement and sadness of a day that changed the history of Europe forever.
