Note on French Artillery.
The French Artillery was under the command of General Tirlet and was comprised of : 103 canons, 7 Howitzer, 9 morters, a total of 121 pieces.

When he arrived in Toulouse Soult had 6 cannon per division and 6 mountain guns. The balance were all held with in the town.
