Ian Fletcher Battlefield Tours

Author and historian Ian Fletcher, formerly of Midas Historic Tours, has set up a new and completely independent company, Ian Fletcher Battlefield Tours, focusing on the British Army of the 18th and 19th Centuries. As the author of a dozen books on the Peninsular War and Wellington's Army it will come as no great surprise to learn that his first tours in 1999 concentrate on the Iberian Peninsula, featuring tours to Portugal, central Spain, Vittoria and Corunna. There will also be a tour to Waterloo. In addition, he will be following the fortunes of Wellington's veterans in North America to see how they fared in the War of 1812.
