by Jac Weller. Reprint of 1967 edition by Greenhill Books. £ 18.50 At last this much sought-after classic is available again. A highly readable and informative account of this campaign as seen through the eyes of one of its senior commanders. Weller is an enthusiastic supporter of Wellington who clearly enjoyed both researching and writing this book. His enthusiasm leads him to overlooking the mistakes that were made by Wellington in this campaign, to emphasising the errors made by others as well as to denigrating certain non-British parts of the Anglo-Allied Army. Nevertheless, Weller's account remains one of the best available on the subject and should be the starting point of all studies of the 1815 Campaign. Recommended. More Reviews
