Italian Wars Rampant
Andrea and I played yesterday an Italian Wars game using his marvellous figures and the Pikeman Lament rules.
The game was very enjoyable, with the French defending a temporary camp from a large Italian army. It was very difficult to approach the defensive line of the French, since the large but unreliable Italian army was funnelled into a narrow defile.
Overall the game was very enjoyable, but the rules showed their limits when playing with a large number of units. Some photos below.
Our next game will use Valour and Fortitude rules. There is a nice set of lists for the Italian Wars.
