Tomorrow we will play the “Action at Sahay” using the excellent Honours of War rules.

The scenario is from one of Grant’s book on the War of the Austrian Succession.

I made a few amendments after having read the wonderful book from Duffy’s scholar Alexander Burns, “Infantry in Battle”.

We might have situations during this game like the ones described by Burns, that lead to one or two simple changes to the rules. I will say more about them if successful.
