Ancient treasures on the Yellow River
The famous British archeologist Rupert Veret is returning from a trip in the Gobi Desert with many findings. Some mongolian workers which were working in his camp reported that he found ancient necklaces of dinosaur eggs, very precious!
There might also be something else.
Doctor Veret is now heading towards an important port and railway station on the Yellow River called Wuu Wei.
General Cao Kun, a powerful Warlord, has given orders to his army to reach Wuu Wei and eradicate all foreign trading from China.
Wuu Wei is currently held by a local Chinese band. His leader, Chi Lin-Do runs all types of trading in Wuu Wei, also archeological shipments for Europe.
By the end of the Great War, some German vessels have chosen to keep hoisting the Imperial Flag in far east waters.
One of these vessels is U-boot 96. His commander, Lothar von Arnauld de la Perière, is now running a flourishing arms trade in the China Sea. Few days ago he has been told about the archeological findings of Doctor Veret, he plans to trade weapons for ancient treasures with General Kun.
Her Majesty’s Government is also interested in Doctor Veret findings..
The game
The game was played in about four hours, with the archeologists managing to escape by train.
For the full time the Britons advanced towards the center of the table and in a thin khaki line, they managed to cover the approach to the train station.
The german U-Boat opened fire with its gun on the bandits, causing them to leave the river area and dive in the buildings.
The Chinese warlord engaged the bandits by advancing directly towards the city, but they got hit by the British defending a hedge and in the flank by the archeologists’ vehicles.
The archeologists drove along the road but at an early stage they found a weak spot of the chinese, not having much anti-armour weapons.
