Chariot Miniatures

10mm ACW Figures

Reviewed by Paul R. Price

David A. Jackson of Pharaoh's Arms P.O. Box 32 Munster Hamlet, Ontario, Canada, K0A-3PO (Tel: 613-838-4818) sent us figures to review. Mr. Jackson distributes the new 10mm ACW line produced by Chariot Miniatures. He sent three foot and two foot cavalry figures for review.

The foot figures measure 10mm from the top of the base to the top of the figure's head, while the calvary figures measure 15mm from the top of the base to the to of the rider's head. One calvary figure had cast the horse and rider separately, while the other figure was a one piece casting. All figures were reasonably proportioned, and had good detail for the small scale. Overall, the figures are of reasonably good quality for this scale.

The line is fairly broad for a new line and scale. The line contains 17 foot figures, 9 mounted figures, two gun figures, a limber with horses, men and horse casualties and a wrecked gun. Starter packs for each army, and a battlepack containing generals and starter packs for both sides, are also available.

Packs containing 12 infantry, 6 cavalary or 3 guns are $3.15 each in Canadian dollars. Starter packs are $29.00, Canadian. While battlepacks are $65.00 Canadian. At current exchange rates this would convert to about 21 cents (U$) per figure. 42 cents (U$) per cavalry figure and 84 cents (U$) per gun figure.

If you are interested in this 10mm line then contact Pharoah's Arms for their latest catalog, as they have North American distribution rights for this 10mm Chariot line.
