Review by Ivor Janci
Are you one of those gamers whose troops don't know where to rally because they don't have any flags? Well, here's a solution. In the last issue of the ZOUAVE, Doug Kline, in his article on distressing paper banners, mentioned COTTON JIM'S FLAGS. Doug introduced me to the likable Jim Russell at the last Historicon. I was amazed by the amount of flags in the 15 & 25mm scales. Not just the National flags, but state and regimental, too. Shown on this page are scans of the 25mm flags (which doesn't do them justice.) The artwork is quite crisp and the color is fabulous. On many flags one can even read the battle honors or the regiment's name! The final product is a full-color digital printout, probably an ink-jet printer or color laser printer. The 25mm samples that I had for the review, had a flag for each of six regiments in each bagged package. Well worth dropping an enquiry to Jim for pricing and availability. Soon your troops will be ready to raise the banner high! Cotton Jim's Flags
