Schleswig-Holstein War 1848

Firing into the Brown

by Donald Featherstone

The Kings of Denmark had ruled the two Duchies of Schleswig and Holstein since 1490. The latter, however, was within the confines of the German Empire.

To this both Austria and Prussia agreed, but the story was not ended.
