The Utes losses had to be considerable 1809 Mouache Utes (600) + Jicarilla Apache (100-200 ?) raid into Comanche territory and engage Comanche + Kiowa + Cuampes combined warband (600-800?) on the Arkansas river. a Clear Comanche victory. 1809 Gila Apache (~50) vs Zuni Pueblo. Pursued by Navajo (~10) + Zuni (200) 1815 Navajo vs Mogollon Apache 1816 Navajo vs Comanche. Seroius Comanche raids into the area 1821-31. During the Mexican War of Independence, Apache and Navajo raid each other and Mexican outposts in N.M. and Arizona. 1838. Kirker's scalp hunters (23) ambush the Gila (100) killing many Apache. 1839.
