3W says:

“In Wargamer #30 we published an additional mini-game, Lesnaja, a companion to our Peter the Great. Unfortunately, two vital components were omitted. They are reproduced below. We apologize for the earlier omission, and hope owners of the game will now enjoy it.” Note with the turn record track and terrain effects chart printed in Wargamer #35.

Comments

Here’s a curio for you. Lesnaja was a mini-game variant which used the rules from 3W’s Peter the Great. An easily overlooked “bonus game”. Do not overlook the customary 3W errata.

Collector’s Notes

Lesnaja was an expansion game that shared a countersheet and mapsheet with Stars and Bars, so it is hardly surprising that it has never been listed in Boone. However, Boone 4th lists low, high and average auction prices of 5/9/6 for Stars and Bars. Boone 3rd prices were 2/10/5 at auction and 5/18/9 for sale.

Other games by Peter Englund

Holoczyn (Swedish Game Productions); Peter the Great (3W).
