Xatha NPCs and PCs

The Xatha generate their initial Strength as 1D+4. They receive a +1 to Education, and +2 to Dexterity. Social Status is rolled as 1D+3. Xatha have excellent senses of hearing and smell. Their foot claws are treated as Blades in combat. Because of this innate weaponry, all Xatha possess I free level of Brawling, which adds to their foot claw attack. Xatha have no Marines or Nobles, but can join any other profession. While Xatha player- characters are possible, the referee must remember that they will be total strangers to the Imperial society and its technology.

A note on pronouns:

The Xatha have two sexes, but they both look identical to humans. Each sex gives birth to offspring of the other sex, so terms like mate and female do not really apply. The Xathas have no gender-based division of labor.

Atla Spacer Negotiator

Atla is the head negotiator for the spacer federation, and lives on the moon base. He will be one of the first Xathas the PCs talk to. Atla is fair and firm and quite outgoing, but somewhat impatient and given to bursts of rhetoric.

Trilan UFC (United Federation of Clans) Negotiator

Trilan is the head negotiator for the UFC, the planetary government. He is gruff, but friendly, and quite passionate in his beliefs. Trilan is quite patient, but he distrusts the spacers. He is not terribly forgiving.

Cith Leader of Jacith Station

Admin 3, Liaison 2, Broker 2, Trader 2, History 1, Brawling 1, Vacc Suit 1
Cith is the leader of Jacith orbital station. He is quite quiet and calm for a Xatha, and very thoughtful in his answers. A canny negotiator, Cith works for mutual compromise rather than personal gain.
