Awe Factor: With people who can fly and
smash through walls, who's going to get excited about
some old ship that appears out of nowhere?
Superhero gaming is a small but popular faction of the hobby. During the week you're just another faceless corporate drone, but come game night you transform into Captain Atom - dauntless champion of the weak, and crusader against the forces of evil! Playing a Timeship: TITANIC! adventure in a superhero setting allows the garnemaster and his players to live out all of their comic book fantasies. The players could venture into a large city and wouldn't be able to travel three blocks without something happening and costumed characters showing up to save the day. The players could develop strange powers of their own (the Titanic finally has its date with the iceberg, when suddenly a young woman ventures down into the forward compartment and commences to hammer the bent hull plates back into place with her fists). The PC may get caught in the middle of some gigantic super battle - excuse me, Mr. Blue Falcon? Now that you've used our ship to clobber your enemy the Crimson Scorpion, could you please pick it up out of this intersection and put it back into the water?
