Pass of the North, 1060 Esplanada, El Paso, Texas 79932, (915) 581-3282 Jeff (nice personal guy). I made a blind order of some of there figures and now I wish I had doubled it. Here is a short review of the samples. Features Mail - from v type collar to mid thigh with plain trim and belted scalberd Helmet - lip in front and back rim and chin strap. Plume from center to back and short plume forward. Shield - oblong oval from neck to mid shin. Bracer - propeller type vertical Arms - Pila and gladius. Gladius is thrusted forward.
PILA and SHIELDS are DETACHED. This is great I won't have to poke behind the shield. The pila figure has an open hand ready to throw the pila. I think I could easily place some wire in his hand and turn him into a spearmen (Triala sp?). The catalog has hand drawn pictures of some Gauls with spears and blades and varius shield types with propeller bracer. It looks like he will soon have some Spanish Ax and some Baleric slingers. I will post a review of the rest of my order if you are interested when recived. On order - Gallic cav,Gallic Warriors,Roman foot,Roman Cav,Roman Command. 24 foot = 8$ and 9 cav = 8$. Most of his line looks like 25mm but I can only hope he does more 15's. More Reviews
