We asked this company for some samples of their WWII line of vehicles. We received four tanks and one wheeled vehicle. The Tanks include:
All of these tanks are really good versions of the model they portray and will work very well for wargaming. Each tank comes with a detached and movable turret. This was a nice touch for this scale. The tread detail is good to fair on the models. The U.S. M-4 Sherman has one side of the tank's treads that seem to have cast weakly. The detail on the other side is crisp and strongly cast. There is substantial flash on the turrets of the samples. This would be tough work for a x-acto but quite simple for a dremel. The wheeled vehicle sample was a German VW Kfz-l jeep, no canvas top DN-114. This is a really good model with cast crew in the vehicle. Detail is very crisp on the Kfz, and the flash is minimal to non-existent! I would recommend the Ultimate Miniatures as a very viable line of WWII miniatures. In my opinion the vehicles rate better than Micro armor for scale because the infantry can be included with a game and not as an afterthought. This is a good scale. Here is a list of the available vehicles for WWII. We reviewed several tank models of interest to our club. All are N-Gauge. TANKS (All Tanks cost $2.50 each)
WHEELED VEHICLES (All Vehicles cost $1.25 each)
