What is Void? Void is a science fiction game, using 28mm metal figurines to represent futuristic armies, which players use to fight battles on a tabletop. Set in a galaxy fraught with conflict, it includes a rich tapestry of background information detailing the histories of four different human colonies, and a new alien race, which is encroaching the boundaries of human space. What makes Void Special? Void uses an alternate unit activation system, which makes the action fast and deadly. The activation system makes it possible to easily fight battles between three or more players at once. Unlike many other miniatures games, Void uses a flexible battle system. You can play small battles with as few as 10 or 15 models per side, or you can choose to play larger games with vast armies. The unique squad based system keeps the game flowing quickly and smoothly, and encourages the strategic use of supporting troops. The game is available as a book priced only 7 pounds 50 or 9.99, and is also available to download for free on the Internet at www.i-kore.com. New rules and troop types are published in the bi-monthly publication Battles with Miniatures, which is also available to buy or free online at www.i-kore.com.
