Germans hold only the north end of the big road bridge, and the north end of the RR bridge in Dordrecht. And even these units would not last long. Big time win for the Dutch. I've now played this one three times, and each time I seem to have been able to pull off a Dutch win. This time the 22 RA really made the difference. With that one barrage attack on the south end of the bridges in Dordrecht, they opened the door for recapturing those bridges. With those platoons plastered, it was pretty easy for the engineers to retake that end of the bridges. But even without that attack, the Germans never had enough troops around the big bridges to hold for long. Maybe someone can point out what I'm doing wrong, but so far this one looks like the Dutch should be able to win. The German air power was not that effective in this playing. I think it might be better to target the 22 RA right off the bat with a Ju-87b in the hope of at least holding them up for a turn or two, and maybe land at least a platoon over there to mess with them. That would be a one-way ticket for the paratroopers, but their sacrifice may be enough to turn the tide. Keeping the 22 RA out of the battle this time would have really helped.
