William Johnson, author of The Crescent Among the Eagles (a book on the Ottoman army during the Napoleonic Wars), has started The Dragoman, a quarterly 8-page newsletter about the Ottoman Empire during the Age of Napoleon (above). "Dragoman" was the title of the official translator in the Ottoman imperial court.
