The revised edition of Owen Connelly's widely-acclaimed Blundering to Glory: Napoleon's Military Campaigns was released by Scholarly Resources.

The essential reference book by David Chandler, Dictionary of the Napoleonic Wars, was reprinted by Wordsworth Military Library in paperback and is available from our book service.

The paperback edition of Robert Epstein's Napoleon's Last Victory and the Emergence of Modern War was published by the University Press of Kansas.

Greenhill Books announced The Napoleon Options: Alternate Decisions of the Napoleonic Wars, a book of "what-ifs" (due out next February), Napoleon's Elite Cavalry, a collection of the artwork by Lucien Rousselot of the cavalry of the Imperial Guard (due out this Fall), and In the Service of the Tsar Against Napoleon: The Memoirs of Denis Davidov, 1806-1814 (late summer release).

We will have reviews of some of these titles, as well as the paperback reprints of Jac Weller's series on Wellington (by Greenhill) and some of the other books noted in our previous issues.

Thank You

Thanks to everyone who ordered from our new book service. We realize that you can buy your Napoleonic books from many places. However, when you select even just one of your yearly acquisitions from Napoleon Journal, you are helping us to continue publishing the magazine and start our own line of books.

We are preparing to publish several important works that have never appeared in English. We are also working on updating great books that have been out of print for years, adding new maps. etc. We hope to have more details about our first titles in the next issue.

Starting next issue we plan to institute mini-reviews as well as continue with our standard book reviews.
