Ray Rubin's new painting "Napoleon in Egypt" shows General Bonaparte mounted on a dromedary (1) with his chief-of-staff Berthier (2), commander of the Guides Bessieres (3), Napoleon's future brother-in-law Murat (4), Bonaparte's bodyguard -the mounted Guides (5), Aides-de-Camp (6), chief medical officer Desgenettes (7), division commander Desaix (8), ADC Duroc (9) who would become Napoleon's Grand Marshal of the Palace in 1805, ADC Junot (10) who would hold many titles including Governor of Paris, chief engineer Caffarelli (11), a mameluke guide (12), and Napoleon's 17-year-old stepson Eugene (13).
