Two packs from Range 8 - a range that is getting bigger and bigger - producing equipment too, which is just as crisp in detail and casting as their figures. Pack 116 intrigues me with its title "Germans having lunch." I'll list the packs, comment on the figures and draw some of them, not to scale. A great range and expanding all the time. Real value for money. Check out the catalogue. There are no "also rans" in this list.

Pack 45 German Para Rifles. 8 figures in para smocks, jump boots, para helmets and light equipment. Three poses, advancing rifle levelled, advancing rifle muzzle in the air (could be hiding behind a building) and in-the-aim. Good animation, proportion and detail. Very clean castings too.

Pack 21 German Para Mortars. Two weapons and two teams of three mortar men for each - three poses to each team. #1 loading, #2 kneeling beside weapon (aimer), #3 spotter with binos. These support weapons are very necessary to balance a combat team both in attack or withdrawal. "I'm thinking how I can fit this lot into my own Arnhem set up! Now for some drawings:
