The pewter really does take excellent detail and a good modeller can take advantage of these qualities. Here, with these figures it is. I will list the figures and comment.
Plains IndiansPI1* Brave, breechcloth, running. PI2* Brave, breechcloth, running, arm raised. PI3 Brave, breechcloth, firing bow (one piece galloping horse and rider casting). Good action of the horse. PI4 Brave, breechcloth, standing firing. Good cuddled aim pose. PI5 Brave, breechcloth, US Army fatigue jacket and kepi, running. Maybe a scout? Feather in his kepi! PI6 Brave, breechcloth, leggings, arms raised. PI7 Brave, breechcloth, leggings, Texan hat, standing firing bow. Good pose. Noble people always look faintly ridiculous in whiteyes clothes. PI8 Chief, breechcloth, war bonnet, one arm raised. Breast-plate also. PI9 Brave, breechcloth, reloading bow from quiver. (Horse and rider, one piece casting). Shield on the mount's right shoulder - great action piece. PIC10 Brave, breechcloth, Buffalo head-dress firing rifle. (Horse and rider, one piece casting). Going lickety-split. A Sagamore taking part in a fight? PIC11 Brave, breechcloth, head back, arm raised casually: designed for use with PIC12 but can be used with PIC5, 6 or 7. PIC12 Collapsing Horse casualty figure (separate base for mounting with PIC11 or can be used without base as a wounded horse writhing and kicking on the ground or as a live horse scratching its back on the turf!). Excellent animation. MountedPIC1* Chief, breechcloth, war bonnet, arms raised. A 'pipe' breast plate. PIC2* Brave, breechcloth, arm raised. Shouting, hand open to take separate weapon. PIC5 Galloping horse variant 2. Stretched neck, flying tail, really pounding along. PIC6 Galloping horse variant 3. Going legs at full stretch. PIC7 Standing horse. Has a hackamore or jaw rope bridle. The modeller knows his horses. * Separate shield (two types) choice of weapons: knife, tomahawk, lance or carbine. State preference when you order. Finally, Napoleonic 1815, French Imperial Guard.
