Obviously if they are ambushed, then it is just a matter of survival and/or escape. If the goblinoid army appears in front of you, General Kleatos will have to make a decision. Throw 1D6. 1: The surprise is too much for the old general and he has a heart attack. You are in command but can only give orders to the unit you are with. Once a unit receives orders it will carry them out (subject to your normal rules). Each set of orders takes 1 full move to give. Any troops who start the game off table must be personally brought on by your figure. 2 through 4: The old general is unable to make a decision and leaves it up to unit commanders and you. Throw 1D6 for each unit. 1 or 2, the unit does as you wish. 3 through 6, the unit may only defend itself. 5 through 6: The old general comes through and gives his orders quickly - but are they the right ones? Fight the battle and find out. If the general gets killed, then you must resort to 1 above. Good luck!
