In the spring of 1940, the French Army fielded one of the largest tank forces in the world, more than 4,000 tanks ranging from tiny Automitrailleuses de Reconnaissance to 67-ton Chars 2C. This article will examine the tanks, the units that used them, their failure in the Battle of France, and their representation in GDW's game The Fall of France.
