Pirates, 15mm Metal Except where otherwise indicated, each pack contains 8 figures or pieces, priced at $3.25 (Note that for some reason, stock no. "10-14" has been replaced by a new item, a Pirate band. The old item, a vacuform sheet of sails, is now stock no. "x10-14", which has been discontinued, but for which we still have some stock left.)

In typical Peter Pig fashion, the figures are superbly sculptured and have beautiful detail for true 15mm figures. This was consistent throughout the line. Flash was basically non-existent. Prime and they were ready to paint. In the past six months, I've purchased over 300 packs of Peter Pig figures and it is for good reason. I like good lead. For any Pirate game, whether it is Pirates! or Limeys & Slimeys or some other set, this is the best you can get in 15mm. There is enough variety of poses and packs to fill up a harbor and the city with figures. I'll just review the packs that I liked best for use with Pirates! Pack 10-2, 3 with cutlasses raised, 2 with pistols & cutlasses, and 3 with just blunderbusses. Although the pack is called Armed Pirates, most of these could be used for city militia/guard as well. The cutlass wielding captains are quite imposing. Pack 10-3, all 8 have muskets (hence the name "Pirates with Muskets"). These make for a good band of raiders as the figures are in action poses, firing and advancing. Pack 10-7, These pirates will stay on the ship's deck and provide some tactical fire support for the raiders. There are six swivel guns and two extra loaders. Pack 10-12, Govt Officers, the name sounds like these guys are pampered and soft, but their appearance is super! Three have cutlasses, three have pistols, and two are unarmed and in charge. This is a good pack to pick your personality figures from, then fill out the rest of your city defenders. Pack 10-14, Pirate Band. Take this literally. These guys are armed with bugles and drums. Not quite that imposing when you're looking for a quick raid on the city, but they are colorfully sculpted and will provide a good visual contrast for the figures on the table. Pack 10-17, alas, no one wants to see their stalwart warriors lying dead in a foreign port, but we all know those things happen. Here are eight to replace the living. These are finely detailed and look great on the table. Pack 10-21, the corsairs are spear and sword armed and will make for a good group to launch into an unsuspecting city. They are sculpted in assault poses. This is one of those packs where you could buy 5 or 6 of and still not have enough. Pack 10-22. Necessary if you want to fire the big guns. Since I will eventually expand Pirates! to cover sea battles, I needed these guys. Well sculpted, bare chested, and in action. Pack 10-24, this is a must-have pack. It is pure eye-candy, but throw a few of these around the ship and the visuality of your game is vastly improved. Dead pirates floating among debris with shark fins. There are three separate shark fins, three individual dead pirates floating face down, and there's two two-pirates clinging to wreckage pieces. Very nice work and again, well-worth having.
